D'Aquila
is fine dining for the ears.
We do things a little
differently here, as the legendary Birdsong basses provide the
benches and hands, and keep the lights on... affording us the opportunity to bring a
"Whatever it takes" approach to hand making a handful
of exquisite D'Aquila guitars per year.
Since there is no pressure for numbers or sales, we can take chances and I can bring you a very limited
menu of out of the ordinary visions. Each has crafted into it
all I have learned in my 30 year musical journey and
hundreds of high~end builds, and the fine hand work of luthier Jake Goede.
The tonal recipes are refined with no regard for current trends or
boutique guitar building cliches, the specifications arrived
at through the playing of thousands of guitars, and each is made
from American
small workshop craftsmanship with a minimum of tools.
There are few options, as I build in what I know will work
together... harmonious combinations like an executive chef's
special signature dishes. I appreciate your interest and time;
if I can serve you with a D'Aquila please call and I will be
happy to speak with you personally.
